The purpose of the Society is to provide resources, space, and atmosphere in which members can meet and discuss topics within Cognitive Science with one another, alumni, professors and other professionals in order to enhance their education and build connections in the field for career development. Cognitive Science is a diverse major and field with a wide variety of applications, and therefore, it is challenging for some students to figure out what’s next for them. The Society’s goals are to mediate this and connect students to and provide resources for educational and professional confidence and development. The Society will host information sessions on careers, research and graduate opportunities, professor talks, social activities and other networking events.
